After beating back Team Rocket's first attack on the virtual world of Pokémon GO, the creeps in the background are preparing for their next coup - and currently everything points to the fact that we will soon have to fight off the attacks of the Team Rocket bullies again and will soon even face their leader Giovanni.

Initial information gathered by dataminers from the game's latest APK file shows that we'll probably have to find or assemble a map and radar. Both will then help us track down the lair of the Team Rocket team leaders and, ultimately, Giovanni's hideout.

So far, however, it has remained unclear exactly what this map might look like. However, a Reddit user recently posted a leaked presentation video on TheSilphRoad that illustrates the look of the map in detail, including the radar function:

Leak: Upcoming Map for Team Rocket Pokestops (InGame Video Demonstration) from r/TheSilphRoad.

The video shows how when radar is enabled, the game zooms out on the map and then draws an expanding circle over the map, like a scanner of sorts. Fans are currently speculating what the radar's range will be, and whether Niantic could eventually make its features usable beyond the Team Rocket quest line - for wild Pokémon, raids, or arenas, for example.

What do you think of the new map and radar animation? Do you like the design? Or were you hoping for more? Also, do you wish Niantic would actually use the radar for other activities in the game? Write us your opinion in the comments!
