Raiding in World of Warcraft (buy now )- for many players, even after a good eleven years, the king of WoW game content and one of the areas that still receives a lot of love from the developers. If you look at the first raids from Classic times with the most recent offshoots like Blackrock Foundry or Hellfire Citadel, you can't miss the (purely mechanical) massive development process. One factor, however, remains unchanged to this day: If you want to equip your warrior with the best equipment available in the game, you can't avoid visiting the latest raids, ideally on the highest difficulty level, of course.
WoW: Lots of fire, lots of orcs - the Blackrock Foundry was great, but strongly reminiscent of SoO. Source: buffed But right now it's that time again, the recurring phase has begun in which more and more players take a raid break - if they indulge in the raid hobby at all. The top guilds of this world are already long through and graze the last raid once a week. Other guilds are still in the midst of progress - whether on Normal, Heroic or even Mythic. And still others may have given up a long time ago: Because they can't move forward and may be waiting for nerfs like patch 6.2.3, or maybe they just don't feel like it anymore. For other communities or individual players, it's enough to have knocked the end boss of an add-on out of its stride once. Meanwhile, particularly stubborn warriors return so often until they also call the last BiS item their own or because they simply enjoy raiding itself.
For years, players have gathered together to master the greatest raid challenges. Source: Buffed At this point - in the context of a community article that our colleague Sonja is currently working on - we want to let your voices have their say. So now it's you, and quite directly: Why do you (still) raid? What are your motives, where is your personal incentive? Your goals - or those of your guild? And when is the point for you to finally put your feet up - whether for good or until the next raid opens? This is not a poll in the classic sense, not a pro or con and certainly not about whether Raiden is good, bad, better or worse or whatever - just chat a bit out of the sewing box, completely non-judgmental! We are curious and look forward to your comments!
