For Classic as well as Shadowlands and the WoW Esports, there are some important events coming up that probably not everyone has noticed, especially if they don't have all the info at their fingertips all the time on social media and other sources. What's happening in WoW Classic

In WoW (buy now 14,99 € ) Classic starts the first season. Players have the chance to start fresh with a level playing field for everyone, allowing new and current Classic players

alike to experience the content of WoW Classic all over again at level 1. New rules apply, for example, no world buffs may be used in the raid during the "Season of Mastery". Development Update for Shadowlands Patch 9.1.5

Over the past few weeks, artists and writers on the WoW team have been reworking some old quests, graphic assets, names, and dialogue that were outdated and didn't fit the values as a team. These revisions are a relatively small part of a larger, company-wide effort to improve the WoW team and Blizzard as a whole, but they are important to us as developers. Because this topic has been widely discussed on forums and social media, the developers have published a separate blog post about it.

THE MAGE TOWER RETURNS WITH LEGION TIME WALKS

With the introduction of Legion Time Walks in content update 9.1.5, Azeroth's champions can re-enter the Mage Tower. Through it, the special mount Sailing Spell Foliant can be unlocked if you complete all seven challenges.

UPDATES FOR ABILITIES WITH AREA EFFECTS

A new comment from the developers regarding changes to select abilities with area effects has been posted on the forums. These abilities no longer have a target limit and instead cause reduced damage after the fifth target. The developers have made a statement about this in the official WoW forum. Here you can also see how the area attacks of your class change.

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS FOR NIGHTBORN CHARACTER CUSTOMIZATION

Male Nightborn will receive this ability on the PTR in a later test phase. You can discuss this new option in the English forums.

Notes on PTR 9.1.5

The latest notes for the PTR for 9.1.5 have been updated with the latest information on the next content update. Here are some of the highlights:

  • In 9.1.5, the developers are adjusting select encounters in older raids to ensure they can be completed by single players.
  • Some new class and PvP customizations are being tested in the latest PTR release.
  • 6 new pairs of cosmetic boots are available in the world event The Great Style Check. These new boots provide a unique look for races that don't normally wear shoes, and can be purchased with tokens from The Great Stylecheck.
  • Various emotes have been adjusted, removed or added

TO THE SHADOWLANDS: CATCH UP TO LEVEL 60

For returnees and twink-happy ones, the level experience in Shadowlands will be upgraded. For example, there will be new heirlooms that scale up to level 60. In addition, the Threads of Destiny will get another mighty overhaul. This will give you a chance to level up even through battlegrounds and at least partially directly to level 50 in Torghast.
