Update from July 30:
The German patch notes of the WoW hotfixes from July 28 are online. We have updated the message accordingly.

Original message from July 28:
In addition to the hotfixes already implemented on July 27, which were scheduled for the ID change today (Wednesday), the Blizzard developers have added further bug fixes and adjustments last night. Among other things, the focus was on the two raid bosses Kel'Thuzad and Remnant of Ner'zhul. In addition, there is now a new way to get rid of Anima.

Below you can read the official English patch notes. As soon as Blizzard has published the German patch notes, we will update this message. Hotfixes are updates that are applied server-side without the need to download new data. Some of the changes listed below will take effect as soon as Blizzard implements them, whereas others will only take effect after an announced realm restart. Please note that some issues cannot be fixed without a client-side patch.

WoW Hotfixes from July 28, 2021 - Patch Notes

Classes

  • Druid
    • Fixed a bug where the legendary effect Soul Affinity was still active even after the legendary item was discarded.
  • Monk
    • Fixed a bug where Touch of Death was not becoming available at the designated health threshold.

Creatures and NPCs

  • The Huge Exterminator and Konthrogz the Destroyer will now reappear in a central location in Korthia after falling off the edge of the world.

Dungeons and Raids

  • Sanctum of Domination
    • Remnant of Ner'zhul
      • The time after which Orb of Agony can be recast has been adjusted so that the mechanics are more predictable on Mythic difficulty.
      • The health of Orbs of Agony has been reduced by 66% on Mythic difficulty.
      • The time it takes to recast Malevolence has been adjusted so that the mechanic is more predictable on Mythic difficulty.
    • Kel'Thuzad
      • The boss no longer retains its mana value upon phase transition, but reverts to 100 mana when it exits the Phylactery phase.
        • Developer Comment: This should prevent awkward timing when re-phasing the encounter at different mana levels.

Items and Rewards

  • Midwayer Tu'kol in the Great Treasury now offers crafting materials, including Korthite Crystals, in exchange for Anima.
    • Developer Comment: Now that the anima-rich expanses of Korthia have been explored, there are some players who have nothing left to spend their anima on. We have no plans to introduce new features or items with a high anima cost in Chains of Domination, and instead want to provide an option for players who are happy with their pact choice and have purchased everything in the pact offerings.
  • The price to re-purchase the Pact Armor sets available as Shadowlands campaign quest rewards has been raised to reflect the larger quantities of available anima.

Quests

  • Players will now receive quest progress credit when flying on the Fledder Wing from the Keeper's Refuge to the Archive of Secrets for "On to the Archive."
