Of course, a lot of development time is already focused on the upcoming patch 9.1.5, which will turn some of WoW's systems upside down and fulfill many of the players' wishes. But also the current patch is not completely ignored and still gets attention from the developers. However, it is more about balancing that should not get out of hand. The current round of hotfixes therefore deals with PvP, where some small things have to be adjusted - including the very overpowered Shard of Kyr, which the developers massively weaken.

Hotfixes from 31. August 2021

  • Condensed Animasphere: Effectiveness in PvP reduced by 50%.
  • Death Knight
    • Unholy
      • Fixed a bug where Desecrate unintentionally activated Kevin's Slimeling.
  • Druid
    • Restore
      • Reduced mana regeneration in PvP by 60 percent (was previously 50 percent).
  • Monk
    • Fixed a bug where Bone Dust Brew would unintentionally activate Kevin's Slime.
  • Shaman
    • Restoration
      • Mana regeneration in PvP reduced by 55 percent (was previously 50 percent).

Items and Rewards

  • Shard of Domination
    • Shard of Kyr - Effectiveness in PvP reduced by 75 percent (was previously 50 percent).

Korthia and the Maw

  • Abilities that are restricted inside buildings, such as Heroic Leap or Demonic To r, are now easier to use in Korthia and the Maw.

While the bug fixes for the Monk and Death Knight are already active, the balancing adjustments will only come to the live servers with the start of the upcoming ID.
