A lot of time will pass until the release of Shadowlands, but there is already news about the next WoW expansion. At BlizzCon 2019, the developers promised that there will be much more design options for our heroes in the future of World of Warcraft than before. The first internal screenshots from the model viewer showed revised models of the undead, trolls and dwarves.

pictures showed, for example, Forsaken without protruding bones or completely new skin tones including brand new

hairstyles

These new hairstyles recently appeared at least in the data of World of Warcraft. Diligent dataminers have probably been able to filter them out of PTR or alpha updates for WoW. So there is a possibility that the alpha of Shadowlands will start soon. On the other hand, Blizzard could bring forward some of the game content that was only announced for the next expansion and gradually release it on the live servers in the form of mini updates.
