Leveling up from level 10 to level 50 in WoW Shadowlands should be much faster than before. However, although Blizzard has significantly streamlined and accelerated the leveling phase, players should still spend enough time doing quests and collecting levels.

The

fact that a player has now leveled from level 10 to level 50 in less than three hours might not have been the developers' intention - especially if you look at how the beta tester set this potential new speed level record.

As Wowhead reports, the streamer MrGM managed to level a character from level 10 to level 50 in two hours and 53 minutes

.

He did this by using the dungeon boosting option via TBC dungeons: he entered Burning Crusade using the Chromie Time feature and had a character at maximum level repeatedly pull him through the Hellfire Bulwark and Botanika dungeons. MrGM reached the final levels within an average of six minutes per level.

The dungeon scaled continuously with MrGM's level, but stopped at level 30 for his max-level helper. However, we think it is unlikely that Blizzard will keep this speed leveling option on the Shadowlands live servers.

Blizzard

wants the leveling process to feel faster and more consistent than in Battle for Azeroth, but leveling itself

should not be a foregone conclusion

.

After all, the developers have already removed the experience bonuses of the heirlooms in Shadowlands - so allowing speed leveling via dungeon boosting seems decidedly dubious.

What do you think? Do you support dungeon boosting in favor of fast leveling in WoW (buy now 14,99 € )? Write us your opinion in the comments!
