WoW Shadowlands: Old Legendarys from Legion will be completely disabled

Legendary items have had a special attraction for WoW players for quite some time. While they were still something special in the days of Thunder Fury and Sulfuras, the game later just threw Legendarys around. The inflation certainly reached its peak in Legion, when each class had over a dozen different Legendarys at its disposal.
And with the upcoming Shadowlands expansion, we'll once again be on the hunt for Legendary items that are particularly strong - linked to Torghast, among other things.

In BfA, they are still useful for leveling up to level 115, before they lose their additional effect beyond that. On the other hand, you can still make good use of them in time-travel events, which is what many people do. In Shadowlands, however, this will no longer be possible. The legendary items will be packed into the so-called legacy items, which are actually only useful as a template for transmog.

This adjustment is one of the changes that do not necessarily meet with much approval from the players. In the official forums, people are already calling for this change to be reversed or not to be allowed on the live servers at all. There are also suggestions on how to adjust the Legendarys so that they don't have any influence on the endgame, which isn't that easy due to the level and item squish
