It's been another few months since we took a look at how WoW Classic's populations are doing. With Phase 5, the biggest content update of the Classic era will be available to us soon (specifically, on July 29). A good time to find out: How full are the German servers? Is the hype still noticeable and can the Classic populations be seen? Or is the Classic nostalgia cruise slowly but surely losing steam? Let's find out!

As a source for our population check, we once again take the site Ironforge Pro, which in turn takes the logs on Warcraft Logs Classic as a basis to find out how many players have actively played WoW (buy now 14,99 € ) Classic (in the raid area) in the last week - the last update was for the period July 06, 2020 to July 12, 2020. Here are our findings:

  • Most players continue to hang out on the US PvP servers Whitemane and Herod: 10,382 (10,255 in May) and 9,518 (10,019) characters were counted there, respectively.
  • The largest EU server is Mograine with 8,177 (9,291) characters.
  • The largest German Classic server is Venoxis with (8,092) 9,019 active characters (with a faction distribution of 45 percent Alliance and 55 percent Horde).
  • Lucifron has 4,801 (5,201) active characters (with 99 percent Horde).
  • Everlook comes to 6,981 (6,997) active characters (with 71 percent Alliance and 29 percent Horde)
  • Razorfen has 4,913 (4,816) active characters (62 percent Alliance and 38 percent Horde)
  • Dragon's Call has 4,757 (5,074) active characters (at 36 percent Alliance and 64 percent Horde)
  • Lakeshire comes in at 4,082 (3,890) active characters (at 67 percent Alliance and 33 percent Horde)
  • Patchwerk has 5,472 (5,874) active characters (at 40 percent Alliance and 60 percent Horde)
  • Transcendence has 4,663 (4,494) active characters (44 percent Alliance and 56 percent Horde)
  • Heartstriker has 4,319 (4,996) active characters (92 percent Alliance and 8 percent Horde)
  • Unfortunately, there is again no data for Celebras.

If you want to find out more about the class distributions on your server, all you have to do is click on the server name on the website. The most popular classes on Razorfen read something like this:

  1. Warrior with 18.7 percent (Alliance) / 20.6 percent (Horde)
  2. Mage with 15.3 percent / 14.4 percent
  3. Priests with 13.6 percent / 13.5 percent
  4. Rogues with 12 percent / Shamans with 13 percent
  5. Hunter with 11 percent / Rogue with 10.6 percent
  6. Paladin with 10.1 percent / Hunter with 10.2 percent
  7. Warlock with 9.8 percent / 9.9 percent
  8. Druid with 9.5 percent / 7.8 percent

How are things on your Classic server? Are you still finding groups regularly? Can you farm in peace? Is your raid squad sufficiently well filled? Tell us in the comments!
