Far to the south of World of Warcraft's Stranglethorn Valley lies the sunny haven of Loot Bay. Booty Cove was first mentioned in Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos as a landing place and haven for all manner of dangerous pirates and enterprising buccaneers. In vanilla WoW, Loot Bay was one of the most popular meeting places because it welcomed both Horde and Alliance heroes. Under the watchful eye of Baron Revilgaz, lord of Booty Bay, all visitors to the port were allowed to trade across factions and hunt and fish to their heart's content. Of course, this was only on the condition that they did not support the Bloodsail Buccaneers, the eternal enemies of the Prey Bay pirates.

Although Loot Bay no longer plays a major role in retail WoW and is rarely visited, the memory of the dangerous jungle adventures in Classic WoW lives on in many players' hearts. For example, 3D artists Dronmo and KickHimSareth

(via Reddit) created the first version of the jungle of Stranglethorn Vale and the port of Booty Cove in Unreal Engine 4. Unfortunately, what you can't see in the artists' WoW project at the moment are other landmarks of Booty Bay such as the idyllic view of the azure bay or the gigantic statue of Baron Revilgaz, which until Cataclysm adorned the harbor as a tribute to the Jesus statue outside Rio de Janeiro. Nevertheless, the realistic version of Stranglethorn Valley and Loot Bay from World of Warcraft (buy now 14,99 € )
